Clarendon Park (Oxshott) Residents’ Company Ltd. is responsible for the running of the estate. The Company number is 02321454 and information about the Company, including the names of the current Directors, financial statements, etc., is available at Companies House.
Only property-owners are shareholders of the Residents’ Company, with each property having 1 share, and only property owners are eligible to be Directors of the Company.
The annual management costs are distributed between the apartments in proportions established in the head lease. In general, larger apartments pay a greater percentage of the annual costs.
Day-to-day management is handled by Huggins, Edwards and Sharp of Bookham, who also act as Company Secretary. Their contact information can be found here; at the present time the responsible person is Gavin Derriman.
The head-lease for Clarendon Park specifies the rights and responsibilities of the Residents’ Company and the individual apartment owners. As is usual in a community of this type, there are restrictive covenants that are intended to ensure that there is a pleasant living environment for all residents, such as restrictions on loud noise, etc. The covenants are contained in the Second Schedule of the Head Lease, and a copy of either document can be provided on request.
